

Following on from the financial upheaval that occurred during the last 18 months, it is generally agreed that the fund industry should be more visible and that it is necessary to re-assure all those involved in funds, of any concerns that may exist.
It is essential to explain how to avoid mismanagement in the future and maintain transparency, especially post the G20 meeting. It’s important to recognise that offshore centres are not just about tax and trusts but have extremely well managed and highly regulated structures in place.
