If you’ve followed our blog posts and email broadcasts for a while, you’ll notice I regularly invite you to arrange a free Skype consultation with me.

Many in our community have kindly taken me up on that invitation – but if you’re unsure on what the consultation involves, I thought I’d share this video. It explains what we discuss and how we move forward. Just click the video player to watch it, or read the transcript below:

Our first point of contact with prospective fund managers is usually a free Skype consultation. In this video, we thought we’d explain the purpose of that consultation – and how we progress the fund setup process.

The primary purpose of the consultation is to learn more about you and your ambitions. First, we’ll talk  about your professional trading experience and overall career goals. Second, we’ll discuss any prospective investors you have on board, or the existing assets under management you already have. Third, we’ll discuss the jurisdiction and regulatory requirements for your fund.

After this discussion, we’ll advise you on whether IFINA can help you as a fund administrator. If we can, we’ll then explain the fund setup process – which usually takes between six to eight weeks – and the associated fees. You’ll then have an opportunity to ask us questions.

Finally, if you like what you’ve  heard, we’ll send you a fee proposal for consideration. If you’d like to arrange a Skype call, just get in touch and a member of our team will be happy to help.

Let’s make 2020 your year. Just email me and we can arrange a convenient time to have a Skype call. I’ll be in touch soon with some more content.
