Many industries are stuck in some kind of time warp. In other words, they’re too slow to embrace change for the benefit of their customers/clients.
Fund administration is certainly one of those industries. It’s particularly true of larger fund administrator firms, which still operate in the same manner that they did 15 years ago.
Moving with the times is something we prioritise at IFINA. The reason is simple: if we don’t embrace change, it will be to the detriment of our clients. Here are some examples of how we try to operate like a 21st century fund administrator:
Decades of industry experience
To be a forward-thinking administrator, you need to draw upon a bank of industry experience. Fortunately, that’s what we have at IFINA. Our team has decades of experience in this field. Over this period, we’ve built a solid network of institutional contacts.
Secure remote working
Post-pandemic, our team has recently transitioned to secure remote working. This gives our team the flexibility to respond to client enquiries quickly and efficiently. It also helps us create a progressive working culture that helps to increase staff productivity.
Instant communication with clients (Skype)
We’re proud to communicate effectively with our clients. Many of them have dedicated Skype channels that they can use to DM or video call us. This form of communication is often better than email for quick enquiries.
Online infrastructure and social media presence
In recent years, we’ve made a real effort to create an online infrastructure to make processes easier for our clients. In addition, we’ve committed to a programme of content creation and distribution on social media (something which I hope you find useful).
Embracing cryptocurrencies
Unlike many larger firms, IFINA has moved quickly to cater for crypto-based funds. Specifically, we’ve created a dedicated fund platform solution for fund managers that specialise in cryptocurrencies. The setup fee is just $12,000 USD.
